Image Guided Clinical Neurosciences and Connectomics

L’IGCNC travaille sur la cartographie cérébrale humaine. L’objectif pré clinique est l’organisation en connectomes fonctionnels de données structurelles et fonctionnelles, et leurs représentations dans un espace cérébral normalisé multidimensionnel. Les connectomes sont transposés dans des cartes cérébrales issues d’imagerie médicale (comme l’imagerie par tenseur de diffusion, l’imagerie par résonance magnétique nucléaire fonctionnelle ou l’imagerie moléculaire). Les cartes sont utilisées pour traiter des patients souffrant de handicap (par exemple des troubles de la conscience après traumatisme ou accident vasculaire) et de maladies neurologiques (par exemple des maladies dégénératives ou génétiques). L’équipe multi disciplinaire fait une recherche translationnelle, appliquée en neuroscience clinique. Elle travaille en partenariat avec des industriels et collabore avec d’autres équipes de recherche en France et à l’étranger. IGCNC works on human brain mapping.
